Boguszwski - ancient nobility and knights. Family origin from the property of Bogusze in Drohiczyn land, Podlaskie Voivodeship. In year 1564, Marcin de Boguszewo was the owner of the property. Family hold several offices in Lublin and Podlasie land, they where chamberlain's, bailiff's and officers, some of them took part in several Uprisings during the partition of the Commonwealth and many members of Boguszewski family was officers in Polish Army and served Poland, fighting for the liberation. Also women in the Boguszewski family took part in the fight for independence and helped people in need.

Son of Marcin, Stanisław Boguszewski married to Małgorzata Zaleska and with her he had a son Paweł that married to Anna Rudzieńska. Kazimierz Boguszewski, son of Anna and Paweł, was owner of the property of Gorowo in year 1670 and with Zofia Piegłowska he had a son Jan Kazimierz, bailiff of Lublin.

Krzysztof Boguszewski was well known artist and painter that lived and worked mainly in Greater Poland. He died in Poznan in 1635.
