History of the family
Son of Marcin, Stanislaw Boguszewski married to Malgorzata Zaleska and with her he had a son Pawel that married to Anna Rudzienska. Kazimierz Boguszewski, son of Anna and Pawel, was owner of the property of Gorowo in year 1670 and with Zofia Pieglowska he had a son Jan Kazimierz, bailiff of Lublin.
Jozef Pawel Boguszewski (born 1774), son of Wladyslaw (1730-1778), was the Chamberlain in the land of Siensk. Julian Sebastian born 1847, son of Wladyslaw Boguszewski, took part in January Uprising and was sent to Siberia at age of 16-17. Mieczyslaw Boguszewski, son of Julian Sebastian, was officer in Polish Army and served under the command of general Dowbor - Musnicki, he was also member of the Assosiation of Defence of Kresy. Another son of Julian Sebastian, Boleslaw Boguszewski was army surgeon during WW I. His brother Michal Boguszewski was lieutnant under the command of general Haller.
Stanislaw Boguszewski, son of officer Mieczyslaw, took part in war with Russian in year 1920 and in 1939 he was second lietnant in Polish army defending against German occupation. Tadeusz Boguszewski served as second lieutnant in Polish Army (AK - Armia Krajowa) - Radom-Kielce "Jodla". After the end of WW II, he was inprisoned by polish NKWD (UB) and judged by communistic regime.
Other members of the Boguszewski family serveed Poland during the WW II and where often subject of persecution by communistic authorities and secret police (UB). Karol Swietorzecki, son of Zofia Boguszewska ended in Auschwitzduring the war and after the war in 1945 persecuted by secret police. Anna Kozlowska, daughter of Zofia, was founder of recreation home supported by Polish Catholic humanitary mission. Ewelina, Zofia, Anna and Edmund Boguszewski, children of Jozefa Boguszewska that married to Edmund Bobol, where all involved in Armia Krajowa and participated in Warsaw Uprising 1944. For that they where inprisoned by German authorities and send to working camps. Kazimierz Boguszewski was inprisoned by NKWD in year 1944 and sent to Suchobezwodnyj camp in Russia where he died in 1947.
