Ancyparowicz vel Ancyparewicz - ancient nobility ('German: Uradel and knights. Family of lithuanian origin that lived and possessed land properties in the area of Dyneburg and Vilnius. Earliest notes from 1528, a bojar Doch was noted in Horodlo district according to Uruski. Adam Heymowski list family in Dynaburg (Livonia) among the nobility of this province. Family is listed among nobility of Vilnius county in 1831. Different lines of the family are also listed among nobility in Kowno 1845 and Minsk 1863.
Members of Ancyparowicz family served during many hundreds of years in the army of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, joining light cavalery unites although in the medieval times they use heavy equipments being knights.
