It is stated that his Coa was used by honorable and noble families of Osiecki (Osetzki) and Okolowicz. The Osiecki family is noted in the books of Uruski with Ostoja Coa but there is no proof that this family really belong to Ostoja. However, the Coa is very similar to modern version of Ostoja and it could be possible that this family was adopted to Ostoja.
The Okolowicz family is old Ostoja family from Lithuania and possibly of same origin that Krzywiec family since they used prefix of Krzywiec after their surname. In any cases, Okolowicz use usual Ostoja coat of arms, medieval version.
It can be presumed that the COa was simply painted in slightly different way during the time of partition and therefore is not concidered as any variation of Ostoja Coa.
