  • Stanisław Błociszewski (1804-1888) - officer of Polish uprising army, rescued imprisoned general Nepomucen Umiński. Joined November Uprising and Great Poland Uprising. As officer, he collected weapons, Founds and was instructor and recruited new army unites. Imprisoned several times, succeed to overcome. For great sacrifice and service for Poland, he was given the Grand Cross of Virtuti Militari. It is also noted that all three son's of Błociszewski took part in the January Uprising 1863.

  • Bronisław Bohatyrewicz (1870–1940) - military commander and a general of the Polish Army. Murdered during the Katyn massacre, Bohatyrewicz was one of the two Generals whose bodies were identified during the 1943 exhumation. Honours and awards:
- Silver Cross of Virtuti Militari
- Cross of Valour - four times
- Silver Cross of Merit
- Merit Cross for Forces in Central Lithuanian
