History of the family

Father Joseph Balicki - Erasmus Balicki Ostoja coat of arms, in 1929, along with a group of friends founded the "Circle Nadniemeńskie Hunting" with its seat in Warsaw. This wheel has acquired an attractive fishery in the Forest Bersztańskiej and Kotrańskiej in Vilnius and around Siemiatycze on the Bug. Joseph first assisted his father in some individual hunting, and later, in the thirties, he has solicited the first hunting hares "the pedestrian". The outbreak of war in 1939 interrupted the education of the young hunter Balicki. During the occupation of Joseph Balicki was a soldier Fighting Diversion Division VII District "collar" AK. He fought in the Warsaw Uprising. After the war, he was imprisoned by the NKVD and deported to Russia. After returning from a Soviet concentration camp passed the exam to study at the Faculty of Architecture of Warsaw University of Technology and joined the Polish Hunting Association. After graduation, he began working as an architect, and hunting has become a passion for life.After the thaw in 1956, Joseph Balicki was admitted to the newly formed Hunting on Wheels on Mazury called "Lynx" in Dźwierzutach, in the early sixties acquired "Masurian hut" in Zimna Woda.
