- Stanisław Błociszewski (1804-1888) - Major of Polish Uprising army, rescued imprisoned general Nepomucen Umiński. Joined November Uprising and Great Poland Uprising. As officer, he collected weapons, raised founds and recruited new army unites. Imprisoned several times, succeed to overcome. For great sacrifice and service for Poland, he was given the Gold Cross of Virtuti Militari. It is also noted that all three son's of Błociszewski took part in the January Uprising 1863.
- Bronisław Bohatyrewicz (1870–1940) - military commander and a general of the Polish Army. Murdered during the Katyn massacre, Bohatyrewicz was one of the two Generals whose bodies were identified during the 1943 exhumation. Honours and awards:
